Nabertherm Furnace N30/45HA

This chamber furnace from Nabertherm with horizontal air circulation is characterized by their extremely high temperature uniformity (up to Δ8 K). Hence, they are especially suitable for processes such as cooling, crystalizing, pre-heating, curing, but also for numerous processes in tool making. Due to the modular concept, the furnaces can be adjusted to the process requirements by adding suitable equipment. The maximum temperature is about 450°C which, accordingly, is to anneal the Shape Memory Alloy (SMA).

Memmert Oven UNE500

The second oven is from MEMMERT, which can generator temperature from + 5 ° C to +250 ° C in the inner chamber of 56cmx40cmx48cm(108L). In addition, this oven features fuzzy-logic control, natural air circulation, stability of ±0.25°C and uniformity ±2.2 °C at 150 °C which all make it fairly suitable for the cure of the fiber glass which is the basic material for SMA-activated Robogamis.

Memmert Oven UNB100

The last oven in our lab, also from MEMMERT, is for the cure of silicone rubber materials which are supposed to be cured at the temperature from 30°C to 100°C. The oven generates temperature from +30 °C (however, at least 5 °C above ambient) up to +220 °C, and can cover that range required by silicone rubber cure. Also, by PID temperature control, the oven works in the stability of ±0.5°C and uniformity ±2.7 °C at 150 °C. The inner chamber (w x h x d: 320 x 240 x 175 mm, 14 L) is compact and enough for small quantity cure.
